Hi, I'm Caitlyn! (she/her)
I am a Nova Scotia based wedding and portrait photographer. I have been using my camera to document happiness since I graduated with a photography diploma in 2008. Fun fact - I met my 3 best friends in college and they are still very successful photographers!
I live in Middle Sackville with my partner Corey who makes me feel loved every day and two step children who keep us entertained. I love living on the east coast and getting to explore it more through my work.
I spend most of my spare time with family, hanging out with my niece and nephews, watching a ridiculous amount of movies, learning to cook (lots of music and cursing), thinking about cheesecake or chocolate, dreaming of my future dog, cleaning (I am annoyingly tidy) and planning road trips + games nights with friends.
- A good sense of humour (especially the dry, awkward kind)
- Warm, sunny days
- Being busy + making to-do lists
- Road trips
- Schitt's Creek
- Cake

My Style
I often found myself envious of people who create beautiful things...music, film, art. I love the stories I find in them and I am always attracted to anything creative and expressive. I'm so grateful that I stumbled into this work that allows me to tell stories with photographs. Your story.
I love to observe and blend in. I want you to feel comfortable enough around me to be yourself in every photo. I don't think of your wedding day as a photo shoot and you shouldn't either. I like to let the day unfold naturally so that your photos are as unique as you are. But don't worry, I am incredibly organized and will do everything I can to make sure the day goes smoothly while keeping it stress free!
A lot of my favourite moments are the quiet ones. The ones that most people wouldn't stop to notice. The ones you might not think much of in the moment but wish you could go back to. The most important thing to me is keeping my eyes and heart open all day to give you a gallery of images that will bring you back to that day every time you look at them.
